Our Shared Learning Action Team is a cohort-style action team focused on learning and growing in a safe, and challenging space. Our first cohort (2022) was focused on gender equity in youth programs, our second cohort (2023) was focused on racial equity in youth programs. Our current Shared Learning Action Team (2024) is an affinity group for female and non-binary coaches and instructors of color. In 2025, a cross sector action team came together to revise and develop an intersectional racial and gender equity assessment with the intention of sharing it with the broad coalition and beyond. Our 2026 cohort has run through the assessment and developed action items to improve the intersectional access and equity of their programs.
